The African Communication Regulation Authorities Network (ACRAN) is governed by the Convention carrying the creation of ACRAN and the Financial and Internal Regulations.

1- The Convention carrying the creation of ACRAN

It is adopted and signed in June 1998 at Libreville, Gabon, by eleven (11) African Communication Regulation Authorities. It is the Convention of June 1998. It will then be amended and the final version named ‘‘Amended Version of ACRAN Convention’’ will be adopted at on September 27, 2002.

2- The Financial and Internal Regulation

The project of Financial and Internal Regulation is first addressed at the First Conference of Presidents at Johannesburg in September 2002. The amended version was adopted two years later by the Conference of Presidents at Johannesburg on October 27, 2004.
